When I started to exercise a couple of months ago, I had a target and a lot of drive. Now that I am close to my target, I am running low on “fuel”. I am burning out.
While striving hard to be consistent with my weight loss routine, I read a story on facebook. It was about a Ghanaian radio presenter who was determined to lose weight, and she did achieve her target; she refused to stop despite the body aches and pains, and she refused to be deterred by anything. She knew what she wanted and she remained focused on it.
Her story seemed more real to me than those of other celebrities; maybe it’s because this was closer to home, I don’t know. All I know is that her story made me feel like I could also achieve my target weight and in fact, maintain it. I became motivated all over again.
Honestly I love exercising. I especially like the fact that the end result is being healthy and fit #healthyliving.
To those of you who really want to lose weight and keep fit, don’t give up. The struggle is real but you can definitely make it, you just have to keep pressing on.
