How would you feel if one day you woke up and everyone and every item you saw was double, i.e. you see two figures of everything around you? Can you imagine going through life this way? This is the life of a person living with Myasthenia Gravis.
Now imagine you were a student, either secondary (high) school or university (college), and every time you picked up a book to study, every line in the book was double. How would you study? Would you persevere and keep trying your best in the hopes that you will make it through? Or would you give up because of this challenge?
Well, this was my story. This was my life!
It started while I was in secondary school but it wasn’t too bad. However, when I got to university – medical school – it became worse but I never told anyone about it. I just pushed through. I am not saying it wasn’t difficult. I am not saying I never thought about quitting. I did, but I just never gave up; the thoughts came but I pushed them aside and pressed forward because I knew that with God I could make it through.
Today, by the grace of God, I am a medical doctor and I know how difficult it was for me to get here but I am glad I didn’t quit.
So I encourage and challenge you today to keep pressing on because QUITTING IS NEVER AN OPTION!
Stay Hopeful …. Find your Purpose!

Kudos to the subject for achieving the feat. Its a lesson for us all. Reminds me of the frog that fell into a Milk bucket. If it gives up and does nothing, it drowns. But it continued to paddle and struggle furiously. In due course, the milk turned to solid cheese, and the frog walked out to safety. Cheers
thank you
you are so right
