Many a times we focus on pain. We dwell on the frustrations of life. We should rather draw our attention to the blessings. We should let our pain and frustration motivate us towards our success.
Life is not a smooth road; it is more of hills and valleys. Life is also not a race; it’s more of a marathon. It’s an individual journey, not a competition.
I don’t think there is anyone who has not experienced pain or hardship. Everyone goes through this at some point in life. What differentiates us all is how we let this phase affect the rest of our lives.
Some people focus on the pain so much that they get stuck and refuse to move forward. They are frozen in time, and swimming in self-pity. Others endure the pain and even use it to motivate themselves to achieve their dreams. They don’t dwell on self-pity. They say, “I can still pursue my dreams inspite of this pain. I can still be successful. I can still have a great life.”
This is the kind of mindset that separates failure from success. This is the type of thinking that births greatness.
Let’s stop using pain as an excuse. Let’s not allow frustration and hardship hold us back. Let’s not make the valleys of life our destination.
You are what you think! Everything you do in life starts in your mind. Positive thinking brings positive things your way. Think positive!
