If I had a basket of fruits, banana would be my next choice after the avocado. I enjoy it best when it is ripe and soft, but not mushy.
It actually has high sugar content but its high potassium content along with the other vitamins makes it an all-round delight.
I used to associate it with constipation because the first few times I gave it to my daughter, she ended up constipated for a couple of days. Apparently, this was just coincidental, because in actual fact, it is high in fibre and this makes bowel movement smooth.
I guess you are beginning to wonder why I am so obsessed with bowel movements. Well, it’s because it actually is a blessing to not have any issues in that aspect of life. Lol! Just imagine having to sit there straining and sweating just to get that feeling of relief. It’s not a pretty feeling. So I’m all for anything that gives me that relief!
Wait a minute! Did you know that banana could also be used to condition the hair? I didn’t know that till just recently during a conversation with my hair stylist. The banana is mashed by hand then applied to the hair after shampooing; leave in the hair for a few minutes then wash off, and you are good to go on styling your hair however you want it.
Interesting right? Give it a try and send us your feedback, we would like to hear from you.
